🎯 Design Challenge
Before the redesign, users faced several issues:
• High drop-off rates before and after subscription
• Lack of trust in information sources
• Confusing interface and hidden advanced features
• Unclear how to formulate effective prompts
• No transparency about originality or structure
As the UI/UX designer, I was responsible for:
• Improving overall usability and clarity
• Building user trust through better feedback and transparency
• Adapting the experience for both American and British students
• Streamlining the flow from topic input to finalized essay
✅ Achievements & Results
We paid special attention to the structure of the essay generation process — completely rethinking the user journey and introducing a step-by-step flow with helpful tips. This significantly reduced user confusion and support requests, as people felt more confident and better guided throughout the process.
Another positive outcome was the growing number of user reviews. The new interface looked modern, intelligent, and trustworthy — a key factor when it comes to academic work. The redesign helped Textero position itself as a serious and professional tool, rather than just another text generator.
